#WeLoveLeila Fundraising Campaign! At Give Me Shelter Cat Rescue we love Lovable Leila. She was surrendered by her family to Animal Care & Control San Francisco because they had a new baby, but they kept their other cat. We suspect the true story is that she was surrendered because of her health. She was not put up for adoption at the shelter because of a tumorous growth on her leg. Leila was offered to Give Me Shelter Cat Rescue by SF ACC and we were her only hope. She is one of the most lovable and wonderful cats you'll ever meet. She loves everyone she meets and seems to always have a smile on her face no matter what life has dealt her.

A generous sponsor covered Leila's initial surgery to remove the growth on her leg. Unfortunately we discovered it was a carcinoma tumor and since it was removed it more smaller tumors have also grown on her eye lid, lip and 6 more on her body. Our vet suspects mass cell tumors. We are raising funds to cover her ongoing medical care in hopes to make her well again. This will include an ultrasound to rule out internal tumors, oncology consult and potential splenectomy. #WeLoveLeila and will do our very best to care for her, love her but we need your support. Please contribute to Leila's medical fund and help us help her.
