PetSmart Charities®, Hill's® Science Diet® brand and PetSmart® present the Second Change for Love National Adoption Weekend. The three-day sponsored adoption event takes place Friday-Sunday, February 12 - 14, 2010, in all PetSmart stores. The goal is to find homes for more than 16,000 pets in need.

Dolly is a 10 1/2 year-old long-haired calico mix who has the “look” of a Norwegian Forest or Siberian cat. Dolly was rescued from ACC where her parents surrendered her after 10 1/2 years. The poor girl initially when into shock and became painfully shy at the shelter. After just a few days under foster care, however, she was very friendly and loving. Dolly loves to be stroked and purrs like a motor bus! She doesn’t seem to mind other animals, but may need to be introduced slowly. Squirt is a wonderful adolescent, beautiful inside and out. He should really be named Bird as he sings constantly, chirruping with pleasure as he runs around the house with his buddy, Dusty. Squirt gets on very well with other cats and people, though he can be scared by sudden movements. Absolutely adores being groomed and caressed - hold up a comb, and he comes running - and he likes to snuggle close to his owner. Squirt thrives on attention - when he was the only pet in the house, he was miserable and lived under the sofa! A very sociable cat, Squirt would do best in a home with people and pets who will interact with him.
